CIEF Source BD is first and foremost a shipping and logistics service. We help you through the whole process of buying directly from the supplier of your choice in China.

After you select and order a product from a supplier, we:

• coordinate with the supplier as needed;
• help you pay the supplier;
• collect the goods from the supplier;
• receive them at our China warehouse and prepare them for shipment;
• carry out the shipping and logistics;
• and deliver them from China to your chosen address in Bangladesh.

CIEF Source BD holds no ready stock of its own. Goods are ordered from and collected at the Chinese supplier according to your order.

To confirm an order, 100% of the product price plus the China domestic courier fee is paid in advance from your CIEF wallet. The supplier releases the goods to our China warehouse only after full payment, so the shipment process starts once that payment is complete.

International shipping is not charged at checkout. When your goods reach our China warehouse they are weighed and the shipping invoice is issued in My Orders. It must be paid before the parcel leaves China.

There is no cash on delivery for the product price or the international shipping fee. If you choose home delivery, only the Bangladesh local courier fee is paid on delivery, directly to the courier company. That fee is not part of CIEF Source BD's shipping charge.

The weight shown on the website is the supplier's estimate and may differ from the actual weight.

At our China warehouse the actual weight is measured including the carton. The volumetric weight is calculated at the same time: length × width × height (cm) ÷ 5,000. Whichever of actual and volumetric weight is higher is the chargeable weight, and the shipping charge is based on it. Shipping is billed from a minimum of 0.5 kg.

The product price and the shipping charge are calculated separately. The product price shown on the website does not include international shipping from China to Bangladesh or local transport and courier charges in China or Bangladesh. Bangladesh customs duty and clearance are included in the per-kg international shipping rate.

Estimated time from the day the goods leave our China warehouse: Air (general) 10–14 days, Air (sensitive, via Hong Kong) 14–18 days, Cosmetics line 18–25 days, Sea 30–40 days.

These are estimates. Customs clearance, shipping lines, inspection, weather, holidays and other circumstances can make them shorter or longer.

Orders from several suppliers, or several products, do not have to arrive together; Guangzhou and Hong Kong are separate routes. If part of an order arrives first you may take a partial delivery after paying the shipping charge that applies to it.

Customs authorities may open a carton or package for inspection, which can cause minor damage to the packaging or the goods. In such cases we work with you to find the best possible solution.

After you receive your goods, please send us a short "received" message on WhatsApp.

Please read these return and refund terms before you order.

Goods whose import is prohibited by customs or the relevant authorities cannot be ordered. Our system blocks such goods at checkout; if an order still goes through it is cancelled and the amount, less any applicable payment-gateway or transaction charge, is returned to your wallet.

Record a video before opening the carton and send us the complete unboxing video. Claims for damage or shortage are made against the supplier on the basis of that video.

You may apply for a refund, subject to verification, when:

• the goods arrive broken, damaged or unusable — report it within 2 days of receipt with photos and video; later reports may not be accepted;
• the goods received differ significantly from what was shown on the site or ordered — we verify and arrange a refund or another remedy;
• you receive a different size or colour from the one ordered — we verify; minor colour differences caused by lighting, display or screen resolution are not grounds for a refund.

For electronic goods without a supplier warranty, CIEF Source BD gives no warranty of its own.

An approved refund is credited to your CIEF wallet first, and you can use that balance for a new order straight away.

Your wallet balance is always refundable: ask customer service at any time and it is returned with no conditions and no handling fee. If you have not used the balance for a new order within a week, you may ask for it to be paid out to your bank or bKash account; the payout is completed within one week (working days) of your request.

Returns are not accepted when:

• fragile goods such as ceramics break and no wooden-crate packing was requested from the supplier or from us before shipping — the risk is yours;
• delivery fails because of a wrong or incomplete delivery address;
• after the goods reach Bangladesh you simply no longer like or need them;
• the goods were inspected or examined by customs or the relevant authorities;
• the goods have already left the supplier's warehouse for shipment — a return to the supplier is then generally not possible. If the goods are still at our China warehouse and the supplier accepts a return, the supplier's return charge, China local transport and any other costs are borne by you.

After 50 days for air shipments and 80 days for sea shipments, a refund is reviewed on the specific terms and circumstances.

Before confirming an order, check the specification, size, colour, material, quantity, model, weight, photos or videos and all other details carefully. Once the order is confirmed and paid, it may not always be possible to change or cancel it with the supplier.

If anything is unclear, tell us before you order. Where needed we contact the supplier to verify the details for you.
