What the columns mean
- CD — Customs Duty, the base import tariff.
- SD — Supplementary Duty, applied to goods the government discourages or protects locally.
- VAT — Value Added Tax.
- AIT — Advance Income Tax, creditable against your income tax.
- RD — Regulatory Duty.
- AT — Advance Tax.
- TTI — Total Tax Incidence: the compounded all-in figure NBR publishes. This is the number that matters. It is not the sum of the others.
